Documentary & Audiobook Narration
Long-form is a stamina problem before it is a performance one. Two nonfiction audiobooks at chapter length, documentary in three registers — nature that lets the scale do the work, history carrying its weight in the pauses, investigative where restraint is the entire technique — and a direct spokesperson read for pieces that need a point of view. Recorded dry, no music, so it drops straight into the edit.
Every read here was recorded and engineered in my own room — a Neumann U87ai through a Neve 1073, in a treated home studio in San Diego — and cut the same way I’ve been cutting music for fifteen years. What comes back is finished: WAV or MP3 to your spec, edited and cleaned, straight into the session.
